"We have had the best experience at Scalliwags! Our daughter started when she was about 18 months and has been with Scalliwags for the last year. We are planning on sending our newborn to their infant class next year as well. It’s incredible to see how much she has grown and developed. Her language absolutely sky rocketed after starting (and now she doesn’t stop talking and telling us about her teachers and friends at school). Her little personality developed, she has worked on social skills, and has learned so much (they even kickstarted potty training for us when she was showing interest). The app, frequent updates, pictures and communication between the staff and families eases any worrying I could have had about what she is doing and how she is doing day to day. The teachers are so kind and caring and really treat our daughter like she’s their own. They say it takes a village and we are so thankful that Scalliwags is a part of ours!"

"We had a wonderful experience at Scalliwags. Their teachers are incredibly attentive, loving and communicative. It was evident they were truly invested in my child’s well-being. It’s a very well organized program with engaging activities for development and they nurture creativity and play in many different ways. We always felt like our child was safe, learning important social skills and she loved telling us about her wonderful teachers and friends at the end of every day. We were so sad to leave when we moved recently but we are forever grateful for the care our child received. Thank you for everything Scalliwags crew, we will miss you!!"

"Scalliwags was our first childcare experience for us as first time parents and for our son. He started when he was 18 months old and really attached to me since I was a stay at home mom and he was born during Covid times. The experience of having him adjust to a childcare center was really easy thanks to the thoughtful staff and teachers at Scalliwags. Our son really thrived there and looked so happy at drop off and pick up. The teachers were caring and warm and always made us feel our son was well taken care of. We had to leave the center to have him closer to our home for practical reasons but our departure from Scalliwags was bittersweet. On his last day his teachers Natalie and Verusca seemed really sad to see him go and Ms. Verusca even gifted his favorite book to him. It was really touching and I will never forget his time at this school which meant the world for us in a difficult time of our family’s life. The process of going back to work after extended caregiving leave is always difficult but we were lucky to have Scalliwags and their kind staff to help us during this season ❤️"

His communication and social skills have developed and he is excited to go to school everyday. The rooms are beautiful and they have a fun outdoor space to play in. The daycare is managed extremely well, which shows through the loving, professional teachers and happy kids."
