"Bright Horizons has been great for my child’s development so far! Talented and caring teaching staff. They are never rushed with kids and give them love and time to adjust to the curriculum. Loads of great learning experiences for kids."
"If you're looking for a preschool that truly cares about every child and family enrolled, look no further! Bright Horizons, and the Natick center specifically, has been a fantastic child care facility for myself and my children. They are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. My children ask for their teachers (and even some of the support and administrative staff) all weekend long when they can't be at school! I feel so secure knowing that my two children are in a safe and loving environment every day when I cannot be with them. The teachers and administration go above and beyond to show how much my children are loved. Aside from the amazing care that the entire staff shows, my children are learning so much! Every day they come home and impress me with the new skills they've developed. Plus, getting real time pictures and updates about their day via the app is unbeatable! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people who work at Bright Horizons at Natick, and the company itself!"
"The actual teachers were fantastic -- couldn't have asked for kinder, loving people around my child. So why the 1-star review? The administration. Our son spent 4.5 months in the NICU when he was born (right at the beginning of the COVID lockdowns), throughout his stay we had to make quick, life altering decisions that you can imagine would be stressful for any family. But that didn't even compare to the stress and frustration that Bright Horizons at Natick put on our family. Our little guy is developmentally delayed, eats by g-tube (some by mouth), autistic, etc. We understand that he needs are more than the typical kid -- but as a family, we're incredibly reasonable, transparent and will make accommodations to assist. But that's where Bright Horizons failed brilliantly. Below are a few examples: 1. BH said that he was difficult to care for because he required more one on one attention -- no problem, we got state services for 25 hours a week to help assist your teachers. Meaning that of the 40 hours a week he was there, 25 were with assistance and 5-10 were sleeping. Do the math... 10 total hours of care that BH had to provide every week. 2. BH created an "Action Plan" because my son was starting to bite -- which is totally fair to do so. The kicker? They didn't work directly with his medical team or us to create this. Our Early Intervention and ABA teams were literally floored - in their decades of combined experience have they ever seen a daycare create an action plan on a medically diagnosed child. It was bizarre & highlighted the poor communication between BH and the team for a medically complex kid. They noted on the Action Plan to receive more hours of service -- if they just spoke with our team, they would've known that we were at the max. And to be fair, once the action plan was in place -- the frequency of biting went down to zero; but those techniques to stop the frequency were recommended by our team, not BH. 3. BH said we needed to pick our son up anytime his services weren't there -- that the teachers physically couldn't handle it. When we told the teachers why we had to pick our son up early on those days, they literally had no idea that was required of us so we could keep him at the facility long term. 4. Because our services couldn't make it on Monday and Friday, we offered to go from 5 to 3 days to assist -- even though this put immense stress on us since we both work full time to afford his care. This facility didn't really give us piece of mind; we were always on edge if we were going to have to pick him up for whatever arbitrary reason they decided that week. 5. This needs to be a separate point to highlight the absurdity of BH. On the Action Plan I stated above, they highlighted the way he eats as something that needs to called out. He eats through a g-tube -- that means you syringe food directly into his stomach, if he doesn't eat by mouth. I don't need to go into the Americans with Disabilities Act here, but you can imagine our horror when we saw his "eating" as a point on the original plan. Overall, it was a miserable experience, compounded by an administrative team that clearly doesn't want to be working with children with special needs. We'd recommend somewhere else -- even another Bright Horizons location. Just don't do this one."
"Absolutely a great place. When it comes to reading and writing my little is a late bloomer. The teachers did a great job getting her up to speed and working with us to help her along the way. She also loved going there so much, on the weekends she would ask if she could go to school."
"We send our two daughters (ages 2 & 4) to Bright Horizons at Natick. The staff and teachers are amazing. They give our girls lots of individual attention and send us personalized notes on how they're doing throughout the day. Most importantly the kids are so happy there that I don't think I've ever brought home a cranky child because they had a bad day. I couldn't recommend them more highly, especially during the current health crisis. They have strict protocols to keep everyone safe but also have a human approach so it doesn't feel like dropping your child off at a hospital. They've been life savers to us during this tough time!"
