"Last week we were a few days into our Cape Cod and the Islands boating vacation when our boat developed an issue with our throttle. After securing the vessel by anchoring, we radioed SeaTow, leveraging our membership. A boat was on its way within minutes. Ramsey Chason, Sea Tow Cape and Islands’ operator called around locally and found us a slip in Falmouth. Not only that, he also found a Yanmar Diesel mechanic who could inspect the issue that day. Ross, the sea tow captain, could not have been more professional and did an excellent job navigating Woods Hole to tow us over to Falmouth and get our boat into the slip. It turns out we were close to SeaTow’s office and the next thing I know, Ramsey himself is coming aboard. He helped with the initial diagnosis, which the diesel mechanic later confirmed and fixed. What could have turned into a serious safety issue and a lengthy delay, instead became a pleasant afternoon in Falmouth while the work was completed. After a few hours we were on our way. Thank you Sea Tow Cape and Islands!"
"Sea-Tow Cape and Islands has been extraordinarily helpful to us in advising about routes, destinations, weather, safe trip planning, and guidance through Woods Hole. Captain Ramsey Chason and his team are extraordinarily professional, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, timely, and responsive."
"I'm not a member but I called because my boat would not start. 5 minutes later, a boater came by and offered to tow me. I called immediately to cancel my tow. They said," minimum charge still applies, $400". They said, the captain had just left the dock and once the captain leaves, they have to charge the minimum. I was pretty shocked. I call that praying on someone in trouble."
