"Loved the vibe of this bar. Wish I took photos because there aren’t many up current ones posted right now but the bar and the walls are all wood and it gives like a classic older bar vibe or like a library vibe. Super great spot for a drink with a friend. I got a gin and tonic and it was served in a tall glass which I like better than a small short glass. Also it was close to xmas and we got to try a green drink experiment from the bartender. Looking forward to going there again soon!"

"I stopped by here to check out their new location as I went to their previous Allston occasionally - I was not disappointed. They had a solid beer and cocktail selection and the food I got was great. Was pleasantly surprised they had a vegetarian Reuben sandwich option in which they used broccoli for the ‘meat’. I’ve had quite a few veggie Reuben’s in the day but haven’t seen that type of variation. Had a great dive bar / low key feel and will definitely be back."

"Stopped in early Friday evening for a bite to eat and drinks, as a Gaff (which is the former name of the place) regular I was interested in seeing how things changed. Glad to see they kept the original bar, which I was told they would but you never know lol. The décor is quite boring, nothing on the walls and 1 TV that was not on. The bar has stools, not chairs, which is definitely a thumbs down for me. The staff was super friendly and attentive, cocktails are fabulous, beer list, not so much. A short list, and at the time nothing that jumps out and grabs you (IMO). The food was decent, got their famous gorgonzola fries, which were good, but could have been more crisp. Smash burger was good, crisp on the edges, the Italian was nothing to write home about, it was OK, would not get again. I did really enjoy the pickled veggies, especially the brussel sprouts, they were delicious. Will I return, yes, as I hope the place and the clientele grow on me."
