"Recently our gas forced hot water furnace stopped working late on a Friday night. I called and left a message for Owen. He returned my call and was able to come to the house on Saturday morning. The immediate issue turned out to be a faulty thermocouple. In making that repair, Owen pointed out a larger potential issue by observing water stains on the basement floor and a small drip from a relief valve. The issue was likely the safety valves and/or the expansion tank. Owen clearly explained the potential consequences of the problem, the solution to fix it, the cost of the fix and issues if we waited until the system failed. Owen had all the necessary parts with him and was able to complete the repair (it turned out the issue was the expansion tank) in a few hours. He was professional, courteous and cleaned up after the job. And he was patient in explaining how the whole heating system worked to a curious homeowner. The system has been running perfectly since. I would gladly recommend Owen to anyone with a plumbing/heating issue."

"Owen is very fun to talk to and work with... until he charges you. He asked me for well above $200 (in cash!) for a 30-minute job that was on his way and he did not use any of his tools or parts for. I later found out that other (licensed and insured) plumber would charge around $100 at most. What's worse is that I was a returning customer and he just ripped me off like that. Forgetting about the dollar amount, the experience was definitely a delight."
