"Absolutely dreadful process dealing with this auto body shop! I am sure there are many good reviews but it seems like a hack to me. Communication was blurry or indirect as if I was not their customer. I got referred by Progressive (also I made a mistake for using this insurance). I thought in network would make the process less headache. I asked them to look into what the car needed to be done. First impression from YD autobody was deranging my interaction afterwards even I was trying very hard to work with them. They came back with that had to talk to the estimator as if I am not their customer. I didn’t have to talk to anyone besides the shop. I was asking to check what was missing on the quote for repairing. I was not explained to me why items were not listed. I have to fight with the insurance estimator for the explanation. (Side story) At one point, the estimator had power trip you that you wasn’t a mechanic( the statement was very funny to me). Anyway, those items that were not listed. They started to come to reality that they still needed to repair them. The items were minor that they became a waste of time for both the shop and me. These could be easily overlooked during the repairing process. I had to come by the shop twice for just going home after because the work was not completed. Also, Mike came out in one of my visit of work delivery. He had a statement that it was unbelievable from a mechanic shop. I asked them to redo the paint job (that they missed) and replacing damaged mirror panel (on the requested quote) after I inspected the car as we should do after any jobs. Mike said he never heard or saw anyone did the inspection after their repairs, And what I did was out of this world. It was again, it was “making sure the customer was wrong for not having the expertise on the matter” statement. This interaction and many before this really showed how shady was this shop. Rob was not any better on the customer service. Matter of fact, all the interactions were deflected to Progressive estimators. Besides, the last delivery day, I picked up the car 1 day after Rob email. I confirmed my pick up time would be flexible. Note that, I arranged my time twice and turned out to be wasted. Rod pulled the car out and the car got blasted with mud. His response was to ignore first until I asked. Then, he told me I should tell him when I could come and they had been washing my car so many times. I didn’t need to know all that. All I need to see was the work was careful completed which their shop was very sloppy about multiple times. Anyway, rating is 1 star for having the worst customer service and a sloppy job. I hope yall improve."
