Eastport Park is a beautiful and expansive park located on D Street in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. As a popular tourist attraction, Eastport Park offers visitors a clean, green, safe, and accessible open space spanning over 2,300 acres of park land throughout Boston.

Managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, Eastport Park is just one of 217 City parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields under their care. Additionally, the department oversees two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, 75 game courts, 16 historic and three active cemeteries, urban wilds, four High School Athletic Fields, and approximately 125,000 trees, with 1,000 acres comprising the historic Emerald Necklace.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online. However, visitors can still enjoy the popular Boston Swan Boats at the Boston Public Garden lagoon, which is part of the 1,100-acre chain of nine parks linked by parkways and waterways.

In addition to managing active cemeteries and burying grounds, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department holds public hearings for the removal of healthy trees to ensure the preservation of the city's green spaces.
