"Cool looking place, good vibes, but the food was horrible. Not sure if it was a bad day but the grilled cheese barely had cheese, tomato soup looked like store bought pasta sauce and the mac and cheese looked and tasted like bow tie pasta in a luke warm puddle of elmer’s glue."
"We went twice tonight. The first time for dinner and drinks the menu had everything except for a salad & nachos crossed out. We stood at the bar for 5 min, finally saw the bartender, and she helped someone else. There were only us and 1 other person standing at the bar. The beer list looked great but we ended up leaving. We went back later around 730p to watch the band and get a drink. My husband waited at the bar for 3 min before she acknowledged him (no one else waiting). He asked about the band. She told him that the general manager just quit and walked out. He usually boils the bands so she has no idea if there will be one. There was no one there setting up for. A show so we decided to leave again. Hopefully the new general manager improves food, service, and entertainment."
"Very cool building. Atrium windows and a nice balcony in the back. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Live music duo on Saturday night was talented and a good genre. Did not try the food."
"If you’re an outsider artist don’t bother trying to rent a space here. No communication, we left 4 voicemails with several of their lines. No one ever answers the phones or the emails. If you don’t want our stuff there, the professional thing would be to let us know “we’re sorry, you aren’t what we are looking for.” . We’ve been waiting 5 weeks and I only just received an automated email saying our booking was canceled. Awful. I’m never gonna bother again, and Im going to save my artist friends the trouble too. If you want a market to sell your art, Go to the artist collective market in greenfield and save yourself the frustration. I have a feeling that like the rest of the Brattleboro art scene, you have to be part of the clique."
"We booked our band through Saige, who wanted the full 5-person band Saturday night. When I arrived after a 2hr drive we realized the space was to small for band and sound equipment and Saige no longer was employed there, so we went down to a two person acoustic with an overkill sound system, which is all we brought for full band. 30 minutes before we started, another musician showed up, and we realized the venue double booked. We made it work between us, and each played an hour. The venue itself is nice, beer selection was great, but unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the money."
