"Spend the day in Boston at the aquarium with the kids and this was a highlight of our trip. The carousel is gorgeous and so special that it’s New England animals. $4/person but accompanying adults ride free which was a bargain for our family of 5. The man staffing the carousel was super kind. Hours do change so make sure you check before you go."

"We were in Boston to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday. The carousel was about to close but the wonderful staff person kept open so we could go on a ride. What a great time! The music was spot on fun, the carousel was gorgeous; even the boat my Mom sat in moved up and down. We are writing this review primarily to thank the fantastic staff at the carousel; she made it an experience to remember. We were smiling, singing, and dancing, on the carousel and she was smiling, singing, and dancing, from the sidelines. More than 5 Stars! Thank you!"

"I didn't know there was a carousel next to the aquarium, but it really made the day trip. It wasn't too busy and the machine wasn't old or anything. Very pretty, well-kept figurines and mirrors. A little fun fact: they accept EBT, and that being said, the ticket is only $4 for a short ride. It might sound silly, but I definitely recommend you take a ride regardless of age just for the sake of nostalgia. The music they played was surprisingly pretty good. They tried to stay on theme with the spinning theme, so all the songs are kinda funny."

"Highly recommend this spot if you like carousels. We were in Boston for a long weekend and took our 2 year old on this at least 10 times! It is beautifully maintained, has a variety of animals and birds and plays great music. All the people that worked there were very sweet to my daughter and didn't put up with any horsing around by some older kids. Thank you to the staff of the Greenway Carousel for making this the highlight of our weekend!"

"I so much want to bring my kids here to take a ride on this carousel! It looks fascinating since it has different types of animals on it instead of the usual horses. It is well lit at night! A fine addition to the Rose Kennedy Greenway."
