"Recently called about having a gas pipe removed due to interfering with a light fixture that was to be installed in ceiling. The next day my technician Dylan came by to assess the situation. He gave me a quote that I initially agreed to and began the work. In less than one hour he let me know he had finished the job and that I could now pay the invoice. That’s when he informed me of an additional 89$ service fee that wasn’t apart of the initial quote I signed an hour prior. I went along with it because it was mentioned when I called, i just figured it would’ve been included in the estimate I signed prior to having the work done. I then was curious as to the specifics of the job because I found it odd that less than an hours labor would run for 574$. I got a receipt and noticed I was billed 420$ for a line item “custom pipe repair” and another 67$ for parts. 420$ seems steep for one hours work. My technician Dylan was very good and respectful. I praise the fact that they took care of me next day and had a great technician. The 89$ charge added at the end and the 420$/hr for what seems to be labor left me feeling taken advantage of."

"I had the most pleasant experience with Cotti-Johnson and their entire staff setting up and having my generator serviced. The office folks were responsive and got me the information I needed to get scheduled addressing my expectations. And the technician, Ashlee on site, was on time, professional, and clear. She explained what I needed to know and was patient with my questions. She took care of the maintenance, tested the system, and cleaned up. I felt she was thorough and knowledgeable. Looking forward to seeing them next year!"

"We needed work done on our gas furnace. We'd had another company come out and they indicated concerns about our furnace, but the visit turned into a sales pitch without adequate explanation of the issues. For a second opinion, we reached out to Cotti-Johnson. Our experience from start to finish was excellent. They sent out a technician who was dedicated to reviewing our system and performing some cleaning/maintenance, not also selling us a new furnace. He took the time to show us what he was looking at, what his concerns were, and what his next steps would be. He followed this up with photos and documentation of what he had found and recommended. Our tech confirmed that our system was not in good shape, and we made the call to move forward with replacement. He connected us with a sales representative who arrived the same day and clearly presented multiple options. He didn't limit us to a single solution, and provided multiple solutions to meet our budget. We selected our solution and applied for financing on the spot. The next week, Christmas holiday week, our furnace failed early in the morning on 12/26. We called Cotti-Johnson and they immediately worked to get a team scheduled to work on our system. On the 27th, a team from Cotti-Johnson arrived to replace our furnace and AC unit. We upgraded to a high efficiency system that they installed cleanly and quickly. By the afternoon of the 27th, we had heat. The installers were friendly, professional, and made sure to review all aspects of the new system and thermostat with us. They cleaned up after themselves, and made sure that everything they did was well labeled (awesome!), cleanly done, and up to code. Our experience with Cotti-Johnson was great, and we will be working with them going forward. (And bonus -- we can also use them for plumbing and electrical! Love the one-stop shop option for all the things that challenge home owners!)"
