"The most unprofessional mechanic I’ve ever had to work with. For a shop that advertises to know how to work on foreign cars, lacks proper equipment to actually diagnose the problem with my BMW. What ever the main guy’s name is, he was awful and the most unprofessional mechanic I’ve ever met. This man looked like he’s never worked on a BMW before. I brought my car and told the mechanic I have codes for the problem and they read crack shaft sensor error. So I told the man that’s the problem, but he refused to listen to me or even look at the codes my computer brought up. Told me “I’ll let you know” fast forward 12 days later and 2 missed calls from me wondering what’s up with my car. I get told a guy from BMW is coming on Monday because Val’s Auto doesn’t have the proper computer to connect to my car, Monday arrives I get no call. Tuesday I call the shop and finally the man answers and I ask him what’s the deal he tells me the guy is coming today, I ask when and the mechanic doesn’t even know what time, talk about unprofessional. This mechanic avoided my calls, left me in the dust, and held my car for damn near 2 weeks and figured out NOTHING. I ended up taking my car to Checo Auto in Lawrence and got my car fixed in 2 days and the exact diagnosis was the crankshaft sensor like said."
