"Update: Fall of 2023 Frank came to change our leaking toilet water tank and fix a fausett and he did it fast and efficient. Frank is very professional and reliable! We always feel being well taken care of and given a priority! Excellent service! I cannot recommend him highly enough! It's such a relief knowing that we can call him for any plumbing needs and he will be there as soon as possible. SIMPLY THE BEST!! Frank just did 2 jobs at my house - installed a new toilet and 2 new faucets. He also disposed the old ones. He gave great suggestions on the size, style and quality, helped to choose the appliances and bought them before coming to the house, which saved me so much time and stress. When he worked on installing the toilet (which involved fixing a leak to the basement), he finished about 1.5 hour before estimated time and charged me accordingly, which saved me about 30% of what I was prepared to pay. This is when I decided to replace the 2 broken faucets with him, too. As I said above, he helped to choose the faucets, bought them before coming and installed the faucets in a couple days. He worked very fast and we are super happy with the results! The summary: Frank is very professional, knowleadgeble, gives great advice and suggestions, saves you time and stress on choosing and getting appliances, works very fast, cleans after his work and the MOST important - he is very honest! Don't we all dream to finally find such ideal plumber? I am so happy we found a reliable, honest, professional plumber for all our future needs! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Update on 5/16/2021: Frank installed a back up battery for our sump pump! Sounds easy, but we tried to find a plumber for a few years for this job. No one knew exactly what we need and where to get it. Frank did it!! And as always, he did an outstanding job!! We can finally relax during the crazy storms that we get sometimes in the New England and not worry about being flooded! We feel very lucky to know such a great professional and person! "Frank did a great job for us. I replaced the faucet in our bathroom sink, but hit a wall when the previous owner's "handiwork" reared it's ugly head yet again with the drainage. I'll admit, I did get mad.. But rather than further abuse the pipes that stop my home from being destroyed by water damage, I called Frank Moody. I have a very limited amount of time that I'm available at home, and Frank was able to accommodate. He showed up perfectly on time, got the tools he needed, finished the job quickly and efficiently and did great work. I'm very happy with the service received and will do further business with Frank."

"You will not find a better plumber in the South Shore. Don't bother looking. Frank Moody has done work in my home 3 times in the past few years and I am very impressed with his work and his work ethic. He is an expert plumbing and heating contractor and in addition, he is an honorable man. He simply does not give up on even the most insurmountable problems. I would never call any other plumbing contractor now that I have dealt with him and I really hope that he doesn't retire while I'm still a homeowner. The first time I called him was for an emergency in 2019 when there was a flood on my 4 season porch room. The entire heating zone froze and burst the pipes and radiators. He came with a helper and replaced the damaged baseboard radiators quickly and efficiently and installed a much better and more effective product than the one that froze. The porch room has been warm and comfortable all year ever since... at least until recently when the boiler itself began to fail. This year Frank replaced my water heater with a higher quality brand when the 10 year old unit that I had began leaking. The work was done quickly and neatly and he charged a fair price. While he was here replacing the water heater I asked him to take a look at my boiler which had also been giving me problems. It was running almost continuously yet all the radiators in the house were barely getting warm. The boiler is a discontinued Burnham "condensate" type boiler that I got in 2001 through Mass Save and I guess it was discontinued for good reason. Frank warned me that there was almost no chance of getting parts for that model boiler. Burnham had apparently washed their hands of it years ago. It was very possible that, if it failed that it would have to be completely replaced with a new boiler (a 3 day job that would cost an arm and two legs) To bring this review to a conclusion.. over the course of the next couple of weeks, Frank did quite a bit of work while off the clock to track down the necessary parts to fix my problem; eventually locating a pump in California and having it shipped here. He had to actually cut out the old pump because it was totally rusted in place and somehow managed to put in the new one. We thought the problem was solved, but there turned out to be electrical issues with the circuitry on the "mother board" (who knew that boilers had mother boards?? ) Frank returned when I told him that the system was still not right and he spent 4 hours (which he did not charge me for) and he found the short circuit and repaired it. Now for the first time since last winter, my house is nice and warm again."
