I have an ASUS laptop that has warranty on it. the laptop suddenly had the monitor display colors incorrectly. so i contacted asus and they said im covered and you can go to a best buy to get it repaired. i walk in, and they flat out refuse to do repairs under warranty because i opened up the case to do general cleaning, and that "voided the warranty" IN WHICH on my warranty card, nothing is said on that topic. contacted asus again and they said cleaning the insides does not violate the warranty. Geek Squad wanted $650 to litterally do something thats 7 steps and takes 5 minutes to do. never go to any geek squad people. they will scam you out of your money even through you are on warranty"

"Went to get a laptop repaired for a power jack, said they had to ship it out and replace the entire motherboard instead of just the cable. Would not recommend. While the people are nice, they don't know what they're talking about when it comes to repairing PCs. It's better to do it yourself after buying the part on newegg or amazon and watching a video on youtube or finding a local repair shop."
