Mario's Car Care

"Brought my car in for a full brake job on a Monday. Was told it would be a few hours. Long story short I get my car back the next Tuesday. He had it during that time to bleed the brakes. He initially told me he would charge me 600 for the brakes. A little expensive but I thought it would be done in a few hours. He then tried to get me to scrap the car for $500 and I would pay the difference if some. He said that I bled the system dry. I finally just ask him if I can drive the car. It drives fine. The brakes aren't perfect like he kept telling me but it was way better than what I had been driving with before. I did have to get it inspected. Anyways he ended up charging me 715 or so. I've been driving with it for less than a week now but the brakes are fine. The bad part is that he only changed the pads and calipers on the back left and front right tires. Smfh. But yeah I guess I'll see how the brakes are in the snow but if you're a good defensive driver these brakes are just fine..just is a little spongy. No reason to scrap a car. Hmm he told me to scrap my other car too and I just did it. I forgot. He originally wanted to charge 1k for the brakes. So perhaps my whatever system will dry up and my brakes will fail soon but I don't know. *Edit 5 weeks later it runs fine and of course the brakes naturally bled out and are way less spongy now if at all That's why I gave 2 stars and not 1."

"The worst car repair shop you can go to. They have no idea how to diagnose a car. He’s a snake and will take your money but never fix the issue. These reviews gotta be fake I know 3 people including myself whose car got ruined. He will tell you it’s one problem and he will fix it then the next day he will tell you it’s something as well and now your bill just doubled. Charged me money and never fixed one thing on my car. Now I have no car I hope you get your karma. Even his own workers say he does this all the time"

"Ended up having a flat I needed plugged, I was in Whitman when it happened went to a few mechanics there they all said it would be an hour or they couldn’t do it that day. I arrived at Mario’s told him the situation and 20 minutes later I was back on the road like nothing happened. Very thankful and for $25."
