"This was my second time doing business with Alix & Sons. The first time it was to clear viruses off our desktop. I recently brought my new/never before used Galaxy Tablet into their store. I tried for almost a year (off & on) to get it to start-up - I could not get past a certain point - it kept booting me off. I was ready to give up and put it in the closet!! "While trying to swap out a component in my own laptop, I made some really dumb mistakes and effectively destroyed one of the laptop screws, to the point that the back cover couldn't be removed without risking further damage to the case itself. I had taken it to other stores in the area, but none of them wanted to try repairing my laptop because of the risk of further damage to it. I eventually stumbled across John Alix's store, where both him and his son were exceedingly kind, helpful and very understanding of my situation. I’m a Mac guy and I didn’t want to go to the Apple store so I brought my computer here. They fixed my problem and it didn’t cost me a fortune.
