"Stopped by for a little while to wait on my cousin that had an appointment nearby. Enjoying the first sunny day of winter, listening to the wind moving the lake water to gently crash on the shore. There's an actual beach at the lake and some parking space. Can't wait for warmer days to go do something kayaking there."
"Nice and spacious park. Came in December so no fee but daily parking fee charged May 14 through October 30. MA resident $8 and Non-MA resident $30. They have many benched for picnic and BBQ. No swimming allowed here. Heard some birds chirping during our visit. Calm and quiet. The grass ground was partially frozen so be careful."
"First time here today. Went kayaking with my father so he could show me "his old stomping grounds". Dirtiest water I've ever seen in my life and I am regularly in the Charles River. I know the Alge is bad this time of year but I would never ever swim here evn spring time. Trash floating everywhere and not much parking for boats. I could see regular season it being impossible to find any parking nevermind waiting for dock space to open up to launch. Otherwise facilities looked nice and clean, although it is October and it was afternoon on a weekday. It was still fun reguardless but I probably won't return for any water activities."
"Where are you a swimmer or a dreamer, it's a nice place to spend any part or all day on it. Nice beach, barbecue area, playground for the kids, volleyball net. Not to mention awesome sunrises and sunsets. The only negative observation is the amount of grass growing in the water in the last few years"
"I’ve been there once. It included BBQ and a good open area to play under the sun. Boats were allowed as well ( but closed at the time I was there). There was a big area for parking but the rest rooms were closed."
