"Coordinated with Nellies salesman the evening prior to test drive an S10 Chevy truck the following morning. Was told they 'open at 9:00 AM...let me know when you head this way.' So, that morning as planned, I texted him I was on my way and would be there as they opened. I was given a 'thumbs up' acknowledgement of my text. After an hour drive and arriving right on time, I arrived to find that the vehicle I was interested in was 'out for a test drive.' The only response given to me by the salesman was 'sorry, I never know who's really going to come and see my cars.' This is the perfect example of what has created the poor image for used car salesmen. Advice: Take some stock in what people say and perhaps add a little trust that customers will in fact follow through with our word."
