"This dealership provides a thorough analysis of all the mechanics of your car through a detailed video as the mechanic is working on it. This is followed by a conversation with a service manager as to which items need immediate replacement and which do not. My car had a complicated issue to figure out the origin and they were diligent in running tests to figure it out no matter how many days it took. . I also appreciate that they saved me a ton of money by running larger expensive fixes through my extended warranty to see if the can pass savings onto me."
"I purchased the service plan when I bought my car, which is pricey to begin with. Well, I needed new brakes, only to be told that rotors are not covered. I called the dealer to verify, did not receive a call back. When I showed up in person, they tried to upsell me on a service plan that does cover rotors, after initially dodging me. I also needed 2 tires, an alignment, and balancing, for which I was quoted over $900. I got the exact same tires and service (you must, with AWD unless changing all 4) at town fair for $420. The general lack of transparency is really terrible. They may not have done anything wrong, but they’re so shady about everything, it leaves you with the icky feeling that you’re being bamboozled. I thought the whole point of purchasing a maintenance plan was to avoid the hassle and surprise charges. Certainly NOT worth the $3300 premium."
