"Yes We Can Completely destroyed my fridge. A ‘repairman’ from this company came to my house to repair my fridge. He was rude and unprofessional, spent a long time on his phone and said that he needed to leave to pick up a compressor for the fridge because he didn’t have one in the van. He returned 2 hours later, worked briefly on the fridge and said that he had replaced the compressor, and warned us to wait two to three days before putting food in the fridge ‘just to be safe’. In that time, the fridge stopped working again. When another repair company came (again through Lowe’s insurance) they informed me that the yes we can repairman had cut and spliced all the wires to a unit that resets the fridge into working temporarily; that timeframe is conveniently 2-3 days. (Meaning that this repairman knew exactly what he was doing and did so maliciously, when he told us not to use the fridge for that amount of time) The fridge is completely broken now, and i have been without a fridge for over 3 weeks thanks to this company. I am beyond disgusted with Yes we can and would not recommend it to anyone."
"Useless employees. Waited two weeks for an appointment. They replaced a part and said the refrigerator was testing fine. It never cooled. I called the next day and they said there is nothing they can do but set another appointment. The lady on the phone, Karen, was confrontational..."
"I was referred to this repair company from the Frigidaire warranty center to fix a one year old fridge that was not getting cold. Tech came out to assess that it was the compressor. They would order the new part and then call back to schedule repair. After 5 days, I did not hear back so I called and was told, "oh, we were just about to call you.". Couldn't schedule us until the next week. Tech that came to fix was unfriendly, and clearly did not want to be there. Two days later it was leaking water over the floor. I called back and was told that "oh, it was probably just the humidity. And it was nothing to do with the repair. ". I would have to go through warranty for another call, and they scheduled me for a week later. I called back to warranty service and they found another company who came the next day. They were very friendly and identified the issue of leaking from the freon being overfilled by the previous repair! Definitely do not recommend this company."
"After being referred by Jay’s Broadway Appliance in Smithfield, RI where we originally purchased our refrigerator, I contacted Yes We Can Repair to have our refrigerator repaired. Via phone I described my problem to Karen, the company owner, she explained to me that LG is notorious for selling refrigerators with faulty compressors and I would need to contact LG direct and have them send a new compressor, which was still under warranty, directly to them and they would come out to do the repair. On July 13,2022 a technician arrived and did the compressor replacement install charging us $559.18 this included a service charge for coming out to make a diagnosis, which never occurred, and the repair fee for replacing the compressor. Being present for the service repair, at no time was a diagnosis done or any other part of the refrigerator evaluated for a problem. I asked the technician about this, and he told me it was definitely the compressor and “this is a very common for LG refrigerators”. The compressor unit was installed in about an hours’ time and payment was made. After waiting for 24 hours to add food, as recommended by our technician, we realized inside of the refrigerator did not seem to be getting up to correct temperature and called back Yes We Can to report issue. Several days later a different technician arrived and said our unit needed Freon and once installed the unit would reach correct temperature. The cold air did return but the unit still didn’t seem to be as cold as it should be at 35 degrees. Another call was made, and he first technician showed back up and told us the refrigerator was up to temperature and working as it should be. After returning our food to the refrigerator and trying to lower temperature to 33 degrees it still did not seem to be keeping the food cold and the side walls of the box were lukewarm. After much frustration we called again and they refused to come back or issue a refund. Had to call LG direct to fix."
"Really great customer service! My washer/dryer had been out of order for weeks and I had several other companies come by and try to work on it before Nelson showed up. He was super kind, knowledgable, professional, and all around really great. He identified the issues in about 5 minutes flat and did a fantastic job on the repair. I'm super grateful! I would totally use Yes We Can Repair again, these guys really know their stuff. Thanks so much!"
