"What a surprise to chance upon this pretty little park."
"Nice little park right off route 2. Shady pavilion with picnic tables. Small play area (best for little kids) and a view of the river from a bridge."
"Pulled over for a rest stop. This park was the most peaceful part of my trip"
"The halfway point for cousins to meet after COVID-19 kept them apart. We have had 2 play dates since the weather whispered spring is in the air allowing us to spend time in this lovely park. I live in FITCHBURG and my niece in Brattleboro. My grandson and her son were in seventh heaven in this safe and sheltered kids paradise. Plus there’s a candy store / overran shop within walking distance. Covered seating at the park to protect from the sun and those pesky showers. Miller’s river flows along side the park for nature exploring. Perfect for two little boy’s imagination to explode."
"It's a cool small town park. The site of several types of former factories and maybe a paper mill at one point. I am not sure of its entire history but it is a good use of what was until recently wasted space. There are various activities/events that happen here through out the year. Again a cool spot by the river with a playground for the younger kids nature themed and there is a covered pavilion with tables. So a good spot for Rt 2 travellers to stop and have a picnic. There is a small grocery store across from the entrance road that makes good deli sandwiches. It called the Penny Saver. And there is a place to get coffee on the same side of the road as the park enterance. Stop by the candy store in the BRIGHT pink building for some homemade candies and chocolates. Been here in Erving 22 years and this park is one of the best projects the town has done."
