"so unprofessional! the worker was extremely ornery and unpleasant. he failed me for no front parking lights and gave me a rejection sticker, giving me BARELY any explanation. just to find out both my parking lights are absolutely fine (words said from THREE other inspection shops in the area…) In my visit, I watched 90% of the cars before me receive a rejection sticker with severely confused owners. Honestly seems like this guy would rather reject everyone than actually do his job. Reporting this business to the MASS DMV to be inspected and shut down. disgusting to see how many other customers have had the same exact experience from this business. do better and learn to treat your customers with some respect…"

"Very unprofessional. Worker arrived at 9:20. I arrived at 9:02 and he was about to inspect another customers car who arrived after me before I intervened. The worker and the other customer both argued with me in front of other customers causing a scene. Tried to scam me to by wanting me to pay an additional $35 for my second inspection . (35$ for one inspection to get the second one for free) when I refused to pay he took my keys out of my ignition and put them in his pocket preventing me from leaving. Finally when i was about to leave I noticed my registration was not in my car. I asked the inspector where my registration was and he walked away from me. Five me later he yelled at me saying “ why are you still here!!! “ I asked him for my registration and he said “if you would just open your eyes you would see that it was right here.” My registration was on his work desk piled underneath some items. I would give this place a 0 stars if it was an option. Don’t go hear unless you want to be stressed."

"the man doing my inspection failed my car. He cited that my parking brake didn't work. I had to pay $50 to have my dealership tell me that it does! The inspector wasn't testing it properly!! I will not be using this business again."

"Waited over an hour and a half. I was the 5th person in line. Never did see the ticket dispenser in the front. Happy he did take my word that I was next."

"This is the second time I’ve tried to use this site and he’s either unable to do the inspection (he was sick and needed to close the site) - today I found a handwritten sign “Lunch 12-1pm). It was 1:06 (I purposely waited until one thinking lunch was more around noontime). Infuriating. South Street Services was more than accommodating- took me right away."
