"Worst run front end EVER. Again, at noonish, 2 registers open, no quick check, SLOW clerks trying to check out fully loaded carts. No quick check, God no! And the last time I was in the quick check they closed it without saying a word. In a busy time! Jerks. For the umpteenth time I walked out, left my hot food on a shelf and left. This place has no notion of customer service, more interested in chasing "covid mask offenders" in to the parking lot and throwing food at them (yup, the video is still up and easily found). They need to hire someone from Hannys to manage that front end and fire the amateurs."
"Great selection for a small town grocery store. Also leads to thier one downside... Isle space. The store is very tight and difficult to maneuver. Other than that, great store. Fair prices, good produce and clean. The checkout lines can become awkward at times but the staff does a good job of keeping things moving. We stop regularly when passing thru town."
"I preferred going to this grocery store because it's smaller and usually less crowded than other Hannaford stores. That being said, the kids and young adults that work here are the RUDEST and unhelpful bunch that I've ever encountered. They will walk right into you. They don't say hello, or excuse me...nothing. You best get out of their way because they aren't going to move for you to even get by. It's awful. The other thing I need to bring attention to is the dairy section. Often there is air inside the front packages of cheese, yogurt, milk, etc. That means that bacteria is growing within that package. The items do not stay cold enough to store those items in a safe manner. I don't know how many times I've had to throw just purchased items out because they were spoiled. I haven't been to the store for a while because of those things. If I do go again, it will be for one or two items...and they won't be meat or dairy products."
"Best shopping experience. I have been going there for years. Always so pleasant and if I can't find something someone is always willing to stop what they're doing and go find out if they have it or not. Such a great place."
"Very nice people been going there on and off for our 32 yrs the prices are high & don't have steak anymore in the meat department. I can understand this because the price of food everywhere went up. Meat cutter dress code unacceptable, garage Street clothes. But I go there for spices they have the best wide range of spices within 100miles even N. H. My wife when alive used to clean there house very nice people really. l get a kick out off the checkout asking me if I found everything I needed? I say yes.I get a compliment on my age once in awhile, I tell tell I've been coming before you where born. Hahaha I like them Alot. I have to go to the bathroom more now and that stops me from staying to long."
