About Us
Wear House is a trendy clothing store located at 101 Market Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We specialize in stylish in-season women's clothing and accessories, focusing on casual, classic, and select vintage pieces. Our inventory includes brands such as CP Shades, Citizens Of Humanity, Ace & Jig, Reformation, and more.
We ask that all items brought in for consignment are clean, free of holes/stains/odors, and in like new condition. We accept a variety of fabrics including linens, silks, organic cottons, wool, leather, cashmere, and recycled fabrics.
Current consignors are welcome to drop off thirty items or less at their convenience, and we offer appointments for those who would like their items looked at on the spot. Consignors receive a 50/50 split on sales, and any unsold items can be claimed or donated to charity after sixty days.
Consignment checks are mailed out monthly to consignors with $100 or more in their account, and store credit is available for those with $25 or less. Our store credit never expires, providing flexibility for our customers.

"This boutique is beautifully curated! It is clean and lovely to browse through. I buy a lot of bags here and have quite the collection; some are even new with tags! I have also consigned clothes here. You will find designer items (Gucci, Hermes, LV) as well as name brand designer (Free People, Lululemon, Frye, vintage Coach) and other unique finds. The staff is helpful and polite; any clothes they do not accept are called “no thank yous” and you can either take them back home or they donate to local organizations. They have never made me feel bad about items they don’t accept, unlike some other chain consignment stores. You may shop in person or via instagram; it’s so easy and they process transactions quickly."
