"Sketchy return by associates. Returned two sweatshirts, had a receipt and the gift card the associate gave me didn't refund the full amount. Another time the associate randomly priced the item I was returning saying that it's on sale 60% when it was on sale for 50%."

"Jcrew has the worst policies I’ve ever heard of in a retail store. I was gifted some thing that I was never going to wear and when I took it back to the store, they refused to exchange it. They said it was past 30 days and even if I had a receipt, they still wouldn’t exchange it. However, the associate asked me to provide a receipt even though she can do anything with it. I will never shop at J.Crew, and I suggest that you do the same because the people who work there are awful and heartless. They expressed no remorse over denying my exchange and I know Fawn, the manager, was overhearing the entire thing, and did nothing to step in. It was a terrible experience. If I could give zero stars I would’ve."

"I was at this store to get some T-shirts for men which was on a promotion online. The store did not have any sign of promotion (which I understand), so I asked and showed Jcrew online site on my phone to one of the female staff who was very kind if they have same thing going on. She kindly answered she would ask George (I think he is the manager) if she could offer the price online to me. The manager said he would but didn’t seem so happy. When I brought couple of T-shirts at the counter to make payment, he said some of the T shirts I picked are not on the same promotion. I was not happy with this guy treating me like who wants to bargain with him, so I told him I’ll order online and walked out. When I returned home, I checked out their T shirts including what I picked at the store (essential crew neck, v neck, neppi cotton crew neck shirts) on the website and they were on promotion online (buy 2 get 20%, get 3+, 30% Tees), unlike what this guy said to me at the counter. I wouldn’t turn back to any customer who visited physically to your store to get something they found online. I was very very disappointed to this store and Jcrew staffs."
