"The ramen is great, of course, but the seafood is also excellent! I was looking for a good sushi place in Boston and Bosso's sushi is #1! They also had Dassai, which represents the best sake. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice."
"Food was amazing, service was great and attentive. We had the seasonal tuna and uni rice bowl, spicy salmon hand roll and the umami ramen which was very authentic. Top it off with chili oil and you’ll be hooked. Can’t wait to come back!"
"I walked in with really high hopes since Bosso had such cool vibes aand then I left not impressed. The drinks were really good and the appetizers were decent- but pretty small portions. However, the ramen really had me disappointed. The meat was kind of dry and there was not really many other toppings that were included. I was full and happy with the soup and noodle quality but it wasn't a satisfying ramen bowl. The black sesame ice cream WAS AMAZING though. Very nutty and definitely one of the best ones I've had in Boston. All in all, not particularly worth it when there are other better ramen spots around Harvard/Cambridge."
"Best Ramen shop in Cambridge. Stepping into Bosso Ramen Tavern on my recent visit, I was immediately transported to a serene, upscale sanctuary that seamlessly married the aesthetics of a traditional ramen shop with a modern tavern. Warm wooden tones created an inviting, casual-yet-refined atmosphere. Arriving for a weekday lunch, I was quickly drawn to their ramen lunch combo - a choice that did not disappoint. The star of my meal, the Umami Ramen, lived up to its name. Rich with pork fat, complemented by red onions and scallions, every slurp burst with umami. The noodle's impeccably chewy texture reinforced that this was the pinnacle of ramen experiences in Cambridge. Accompanying this was the Mentaiko rice and the Umami Chicken Kaarage - both simple, but enjoyable. However, the experience had its contrasts. The handroll sushi seemed out of step with the rest of the meal. Overwhelming rice portions dimmed the otherwise fresh ingredients, making the overall sushi experience lackluster, especially given its price point. Of the rolls I sampled, the Unagi and Spicy Salmon stood out as commendable, though not extraordinary. Overall, Boss Ramen Tavern is a must-visit for those seeking a transcendent ramen experience complemented by good side dishes. However, for sushi aficionados, it might be wise to explore elsewhere."
"Was stunning that there serve pretty good Japanese fusion food here. All sushi were super super tasty. Just a bit down side was the rice was but too sticky, otherwise all the taste were good. Ramen rates pretty good! My friends’ hot sake was great. Vibe was pretty well here as well. Servers were nice and patiently explain everything. We came in with reservation. Highly recommended to make a reservation ahead."
