"Had a very strange experience with this company a few days ago. My car broke down and needed to be towed to the shop, so I called AAA for roadside assistance. All of AAA's in-house tow trucks were tied up with other jobs, so AAA sent Southern Maine Towing to tow my car. When SMT showed up, the driver wouldn't stop ranting about how bad AAA is, said AAA employees are a slur that I can't write here, and told me that if I ever need a tow again, I should call SMT directly rather than calling AAA. I've been a AAA member for over 20 years and I've never had a single problem with them. The behavior of the SMT tow truck driver was unprofessional and did not inspire confidence. As far as I can tell, he did an OK job of towing my car — hence the 3-star rating — but I will avoid this company in the future."
"I had two flat tires after hitting a pothole and was stuck on the side of an on-ramp on the turnpike after dark. Joe H. arrived within 15 minutes and quickly and safely had my car up on the flatbed while cars were driving by way too fast. Joe was friendly and professional and I felt at ease, which was great after a stressful incident. He also made sure I got home safely after dropping my car at the dealer, which was really appreciated. Thank you!!"
"Mike saved my husband and I on 95S tonight and brought us back to NH. He went above and beyond by also putting on donut tire and filling it with air. His quick response saved us from a very terrifying situation. Added card info to my Facebook story"
"When I was growing I never once questioned my mother's income or my father's!! it was never a discussion. We ate homemade meals consisting of meat, potatoes, and vegetables - (which were not an optional choice). , dessert once in awhile !!! We grew up during a time when we mowed lawns, pulled weeds, babysat, and helped neighbors with chores. We by no means were given everything we wanted. We went outside a lot to play, run with friends, play hide and seek or went bike riding. We rarely just sat inside. Bottled water was unheard of. If we had a Coke, it was in a glass bottle, and we didn’t break the bottle when finished, it had a deposit and had to be redeemed. We saved it . After school, we came home and did homework and chores, before going outside or having friends over. We would play for hours. We had to tell our parents where we were going, who we were going with, and be home before dark, or when the streetlights came on. You LEARNED from your parents instead of disrespecting them and treating them as if they knew absolutely nothing. What they said was LAW and you did not question it and you had better know it! We watched what we said around our elders and neighbors because we knew if we DISRESPECTED any grown-up, we would get a real telling off or whooping, it wasn't called abuse, it was called discipline! We held doors, carried the shopping, and gave up our seat for an older person without being asked. You didn't hear swear words on the radio in songs or on TV. “Please and Thank you", were part of our daily vocabulary! The world we live in now is just so full of people who hate and disrespect others. Consider Re-posting if you're thankful for your childhood. I will never forget where I came from and only wish children and people nowadays had half the chance at the fun and respect for real life we grew up with! And we were never bored. I chose not to put where I grew up. Copied and pasted (change where YOU grew up) I grew up in Raymore Sask"
"Recently new to the area, had some minor problems with my vehicle. Spoke with a pleasant woman on the phone, had a flatbed at my address within the time she told me it would be there. The driver was professional and respectful. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs assistance with their vehicle. Price was affordable too. Can't thank them enough."
