"Coming home to carbon monoxide alarms was a bit unsettling. After we called the fire department and National Grid we called McKay Plumbing and Heating a company I had no relationship with but was recommended by two friends. A service tech was at my home in about 30 minutes, diagnosed the issue, and contacted the office. After speaking to the owner, Rick Clayton, decisions were made and the McKay team showed up at 8 AM the next morning. Three trucks and a crew of 6 the work was completed the same day and the heat was on at 3 PM. Great service, great team and I would highly recommend this organization for your plumbing, HVAC etc."

"I just wanted to express how pleased I am with this company. Our plumbing issue was a challenge. We have extremely old piping in our house and I knew they wanted to help keep the original plumbing in place the best they could. Due to the complexity of the situation we had many great plumbers come by, Tyler, Joe, John, Jim and Phil. Some of our plumbing was stuff some of them had never seen before but they worked as a team. They truly tackled this insane job. They were awesome and did their best to keep my home in tact while getting the job done. We had zero access points to the plumbing! What we thought was a simple clog turned out to be a nightmarish, something we never expected. They tried to snake it, they tried drain cleaner. We woke up the next morning and we knew something was wrong. They came right back out to continue troubleshooting and fixing. They didnt stop until the job was done. We felt like a priority. We now have reliable plumbing, an access point, and the ability to not shower with a pool at our feet. I think Amy is their dispatcher and she was so wonderful and pleasant. When the job got tough she helped us and got more people out to make it all happen. Excellent team. I would recommend them ten times over and if we ever need it in the future, they’ll be our first call!"

We didn’t have a relationship previously with this company, but a couple days before thanksgiving we had a surprise geyser in the basement and I expected to not be able to get anyone to fix it until til after the holiday but they in fact came within an hour of me calling and got the job done in no time at all. My my first impression was how knowledgeable he was as I described the issue and he scheduled a tech for the next morning. Adam and Kim arrived on time, and spent a good hour testing my furnace and laid out my options, none of which were what I wanted to hear. "I've been using McKay for about five years now. I have an older house, and they are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to working with the old plumbing. I am currently doing a basement renovation and adding a new bath and kitchen. They have done a wonderful job installing all new plumbing for both. They also reworked and moved a lot of the old pipes too, so they are well versed at handling pretty much anything. They always answer their phones too! They are punctual and have a great office staff who coordinates everything. The guys are great too! Very professional and fun to work with.
