"1st time visiting on a quiet Wednesday, great local musician laying out the guitar hits! The haddock dinner was fresh and delicious, tasty cocktails and wonderful service. Nice, relaxed and casual, we will be back!"
"Was late night Friday and not many places were open but we knew they were till 12 midnight so we stopped in and got dinner. If remember correctly they had about 10 beers on tap including local brewers beers which was nice they also had speciality drinks as well after ordering drinks we ordered a Bacon burger,Buffalo fingers and mozzarella sticks. The burger was great and the appetizers came out in minutes and were awesome! The menu didn't have any desert listed but we asked and they said they had a strawberry shortcake desert with ice cream and a brownie desert as well so we happily ordered both and they came out looking delicious and were not small in size. Both were great! It was a cold late night so it was quite in there but it looks as if there's normally a band and there's a bar and tables out on the back deck which is directly on the river and there's boats docked all along the back of restaurants. Definitely a cool place to eat on a summer night. I've heard it's really busy in summer time and on weekends and I could see why. There's tons of tvs, and lottery to play while you wait!"
"I've tried to give em a fair chance after a couple not so stellar visits. The other times it was busy or they were understaffed (sometimes both.) This was the 'we'll give em another shot!' There was music on the deck (that's why the 5 on atmosphere. Hard to be unhappy on the the water!) So we sat inside, at the bar. Wasn't too busy inside, honestly I didn't look outside. I had a frozen drink. Meh. It was Ok. Fries were undercooked and cold. Sandwich was Ok. There's better options is all I'll say."
"I enjoyed the buttered lobster roll. A local friend with us preferred the buttered lobster roll to be warm, however. I thought it was good cold, but then again I'm from "out west" as they say. My husband had the traditional version with mayo. The clam chowder and the lobster bisque were also good!"
