I was nervous about hitting the weight floor but pete, who was working on the floor told me i have potential and asked if i had heard of intermittent fasting. He fully changed my outlook on working out. I owe all of my gains to him. Everything your looking for in a employee (and friend). need more people in the world like him."

"Not a gym review... however if you are ever in need of a birthday party venue I highly recommend planning your party with MAC Manchester! The outdoor patio was clean and spacious. It's shaded, for the hot sunny summer days. The pool was clean and refreshing. There's a lifeguard on duty. The staff were completely attentive, professional and friendly. All our needs were met! And then some! The great thing is that you don't need to be a member. Marion was so great from helping to plan the party to being hands on during the party. And helped pack everything up. I can't say enough about her! Thank you for helping make my granddaughters 5th birthday a great one!"

"If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. Never in my life have I dealt with a more helpless person on the phone. Called asking a simple question asking the price of a membership and was told “I do not work in memberships” and transferred to a voicemail. Could not even Answer a simple question and no price breakdown on website. No person should have to send an email just to get membership pricing. Called Beverly Athletic Club and the front desk gave me a simple price breakdown in seconds. Do not even waste time calling this place. People are just lazy and do not care"

"Great gym. Tons of equipment and awesome basketball court. Excellent tennis courts too. Wish i could reserve tennis courts online like other clubs but overall a nice facility. Definitely recommend this club!"

"My husband and I had been members at the MAC for years until the expense, lack of cleanliness, and lack of concern for members led us to join another club. The MAC was much better run and cared for by the previous owner. If you’re at the MAC for tennis, the junior and women’s programs are given priority. My husband played tennis, but there was very little support for Mens tennis there. Tomas, the tennis pro in charge of the Men’s program, was fantastic, but the club gave him very little to work with. Aside from this, the tennis courts were often poorly maintained, as were the common areas. The locker room showers and carpeting were often in dirty, even after they had been renovated. Morale among the MAC staff seems very low, and turnover is quite high. For what you’re paying monthly at the MAC it’s just not up to snuff. Tomas ( tennis pro ) was the only reason my husband stayed at the MAC for as long as he did. But finally we both chose to join another club where the adult tennis programs are fantastic, the club is much better maintained, and all members are valued and respected."
