"Do not trust this business. After Discussing 2 jobs and payments methods, and asking for a written estimate repeatedly, No estimate was ever provided. Insisted on cash deposit to start work. Asked for more cash every day he showed up. Was constantly finding more work that needed to be done - and was told no repeatedly. Only worked for 2 partial days, about 2 hours one day and 3.5 hours second day and calls this $800 worth of labor. Cancelled repeatedly for over a week, when he finally did show up for a third day he asked for more cash - then escalated into a confrontation becoming threatening and belligerent. Work is unfinished. Holes in roof. Venting on eves removed and on ground. Already reached the budget discussed and he insist I owe him more money yet. I now need to hire someone else to fix what he has left unfinished and close up holes in eves and replace the siding under the eves. He insist we never talked prices, he insist he was doing me a favor not writing up a contract because he has a binding arbitration clause. I already had left a negative review, which prompted him to contact me and state he wanted to resolve it. I told him some terms of meeting to resolve it, agreed to take the review down in good faith. He has since not only backed out of the review but tried to pressure me into giving him more work and more money for it to be worth him showing up to negotiate. Pittsfield Police know his name and have had complaints before and advised me that he knows the system and how to avoid criminal liability for his conduct. He has already outright stated that if I write a negative review he will slander me. Do not make the mistake I made - Do not make the mistake I made. Do not hire this man. Do not give this man money. Do not sign any contract with a binding arbitration clause or insisting you sign away your rights to leave a review. Do not let him in your home or business. He is running a scam. If you insist on hiring him, insist on a written estimate."
