"He had green crabs when I needed some. Thought they weren't too fresh. 1st time there, small, kinda out of the way for a shop of this type, but it serves a purpose. Not a big selection of anything, but has some essentials and gear."
"It’s a great place for your fishing needs but I think it is a little bit pricier then a few other places I go to. I bought bunch of eels a week ago they were priced $4 each. Next day I bought some from Bass River Bait and Tackle and they were only $2.50"
"Came in with 0 fishing knowledge, left with the basics to get me started! Christian at Sports Port was fantastic and showed myself and a friend how to get started with the rods we bought."
"Very helpful owner who is very knowledgeable. I thought it was going to be expensive being a specialty store. I was wrong. They have a complete range of products in different price range. It's worth a stop in."
"What a great little fish and tackle shop. We're in town for a couple of days and wanted to go fishing from the beach or pier for some catch and release. The gentleman that helped us out was so friendly and helpful. We rented a rod & reel, bought some bait, and extra hooks, and got a 3 days temp fishing license for under $50. He even put us on a spot to fish that's free to access and easy to get to. Definitely recommend this store!!"
