"I brought my 1971 Schwinn Continental in for service. Their knowledge of the older Schwinn's was quite amazing. Everything was done correctly and efficiently. They will be tuning up my 1981 Schwinn Super Le Tour next."
"Wheeled my bike here after getting a flat, just needed a tube as I know how to change a tire. Asked quite clearly if I could use their pump real quick to change my tire, they said the only pump they had was $110. Clarified that i just need to pump up the tube, not looking to buy a pump, they said they can't do that and wanted to charge $15 labor for it, which I did not have on me. Had to call someone in the area to bring us down a pump. They were incredibly rude too, not wearing masks and calling it "bullsh*t.""
"I have recently bought 3 bikes (in the past two months) from Martha's and have been very disappointed. I have had issues with the tires and have struggled to get support. What they did send me (and made me pay for) was the wrong size, despite them stating "this is the tire that the bike comes with" and when I called to complain, I was told they were too busy. So they are happy to sell you the bike, just don't count on their support to fix something when it goes wrong."
"Don’t waste your time going here. They won’t have what you need or know what you’re even asking for... Shop should have gone under years ago. Feel sorry for anyone that thinks this is how a bike shop should be run. Customer service is awful. Owner treats people like they are beneath him. Last I checked without customers small business’ can’t exist. Places like this make consumers like me, just want to order stuff online. And just an FYI, I worked at several shops for over 20 years and am a master mechanic. So to be treated like I knew nothing, when he had no idea who I was or what I was capable of is pretty presumptuous. There are plenty of better shops around. Buyer beware of these clowns."
"I brought my son’s bike in for repair and they quoted me a week, week and a half service time. That was easily a week shorter than the fastest other quote. My seven year old was dismayed that he’d have to go so long without his bike, but I assured him the time would go by fast, a lie if anyone is familiar with seven year olds! What would you know? I got a text the very next day saying the bike was serviced and repaired! The work was done impeccably and the bike was cleaned to look brand new! Wonderful experience I highly recommend Martha’s"
