"Pros - We enjoyed riding our bikes - so that's a plus. They worked; we had helmets and bike locks and the locks worked as well. Cons - Surly owners. They just are NOT customer service oriented. They're not friendly at all - they're more aloof and almost seem like we were pestering them with even basic questions. It wasn't just us, I heard them arguing with another customer who was asking for directions. We won't be renting from them again."

"10/10 customer service. Had a flat tire 5 miles into the bike trail and someone from the bike shop came within 10 minutes to my aid with a spare. Bikes are decent and fairly priced."

"Horrible customer service. They called me accusing me of not returning the bike when I had paid for multiple days. On my first visit they both blocked my car in with a bike trailer and made me feel like a burden for trying to leave. Employees were gruff and disinterested. I felt unwelcomed. I chose to rent here versus the other stores in Falmouth based on their website. The website indicates that you can use your rental fee towards a purchase. I get it. There is a pandemic. This should be updated to state that they no longer sell bikes until the pandemic ends. I’m fine with that. However, being treated with disdain for asking about a purchase is not okay. They had my money and wanted me gone. I found a Trek at another store in Falmouth, where I was treated very well despite a difficult supply chain. The other store earned a customer for life. Do not shop at Bike Zone if you care at all about customer service."

"We were directed to this place from their Yarmouth location/branch where we were told that taking a shining sea bike path would be a better option for us per the experience we would like to have for our family of 4. They accommodated a bike trailer for us and didn't charge a full price, since we planned to take bikes for just a couple of hours before sunset. It was also very convenient to drop off bikes after store is closed. Very friendly and welcome staff in both stores."

"We rented bikes for the day for $20 each. It came with a helmet and lock. Had to write down a credit card number in case anything happened. When we returned the bikes he ripped off that part of our contract and gave it back. We were in and out in 3 minutes. No fuss, no extras. We got what we wanted and had a great day on the trail. It closes at 5 despite what google says."
