"Be aware of this business and consider carefully whether you want to engage in business with them . I looked at a truck yesterday for my son, and and the owner who depicted this as a private sale, however readily slapped a dealer plate he stated was from a buddy of his. When asked if I was able to take the truck to a local garage to confirm the "new inspection sticker " it had on it, he categorically declined . He stated he would personally guarantee any inspection failures, but when asked if he would include that on the bill of sale , he stated of course not. . He wanted his asking price and nothing less without any implied warranties , and stated he has many buyers that will buy it at his asking price sight unseen . Stay away folks, this one wants to grab your money with a special stop light warranty for his goods... Soon as he no longer sees your stop lights driving away...it's no longer warrantied. If the truck was just inspected and passed all safety related items legitimately, there should be no resistance to taking it to a third party for confirmation of inspectable items. Was just looking to verify inspection prior to any purchase for the $17K asking price before my son financed it, but if your going to hide something, just refuse to let another party confirm and maybe some unsuspecting trusting individual will get swindled. Folks like this should be investigated by the Maine DA."

"I bought a used car here several years ago and based on that experience I'm surprised this place is still in business. The car had multiple issues that they had to be aware of before the sale. For example, the steering rack was shot. When I brought it back they offered replace it at 50% of cost. When I picked it up there was clearly something else wrong, engine was very loud. The technician looked it over and said it was fine, just my imagination. I took it straight to another shop...turns out they didn't put the fire wall back together, and the "new" steering rack was not new, had to be replaced a couple years later. Turned out the whole front end was full of cheap, worn parts. Too many to list, but my favorite example, a control arm snapped in half and the front axle popped loose. Thank God I was only going 10mph. My mechanic had never even heard of a Volvo control arm snapping. Turns out it was cheap knockoff"

"Have been going here for ~10-12 years. Fantastic service. Think the car goes in 1 or 2 times a year (inspection and if anything is needed). Tom, the owner, is amazing. Very good at making sure the issues are addressed, at a reasonable price, and very quick turn around time. He doesn't nickel and dime you like some places. Always a great experience."
