"Was I discriminated? That was the initial thought that crossed the minds of the group of Latino friends who went to shop at this place. I do not recommend anyone to buy from this store, specifically due to the treatment received from the staff. If you are Latino, it's even worse; most of their staff will follow you around as if you were about to steal something. As a marketing/advertising professional of Latino origin, this is the WORST CUSTOMER JOURNEY experience I have ever had, and what's even worse is that it happened in the city where the NB brand was founded. Quick story: Upon entering the store, the reception was good (a respectful greeting), but not even 10 minutes passed before we felt pressured by the staff. They followed us everywhere, asking every 5 minutes if "we were done with what we were looking for." When we inquired about a size for a T-shirt, the woman who attended to us said, "I don't have that T-shirt in the size you need." After 5 minutes, she asked another worker if they had the size, and he said, "I'll go look for it in the warehouse, but first, I have to assist the people who just entered the store." This person never went to look for anything in the warehouse! Only Javi/Xavi, the respectful worker who attended to us promptly without waiting, helped us by fetching the right size of T-shirt from a drawer that was literally next to the T-shirts we wanted (this drawer could only be opened by the staff). When paying for the T-shirt, the continuation of the bad experience was waiting at the cash register, with no one coming quickly. Eventually, the same person who was supposed to go to the warehouse reluctantly came to charge us with a bad attitude. Whoever is in charge of this store is doing not a good job, I WILL NEVER Buy NB again in this store..."

"I am not surprised to see the low rating for this store—I can’t see myself going back and would recommend trying a new New Balance elsewhere. My sister wanted to try on a pair of shoes and they brought her the wrong ones not once, not twice, but three times after waiting a long time for each. It was clear the employees didn’t want to be there, and frankly at some point, neither did we. We eventually just left after deciding we weren’t going to get what we wanted. Very disappointed."
