"The sporting shop is one of the best establishments I’ve been in New England. The shop, the inventory, and the brands that are carried was very impressive. They carry, some very high-quality brands that you don’t find in New England. I worked with Alec and Hunter with my purchase of a DT11 XTrap. It was a memorable experience. I believe they’re getting ready to expand the store, which should only make the experience even more enjoyable. Well worth the trip if you’re in the area."

"If you want to buy a firearm with zero resale value, and worth $800 in house. But actually $400. This is the place to be. Don’t let the wonderful verity of overpriced firearms, and beautiful scenery fool you. You’ll never get even half of what you paid for it back. And many other shops will tell you, you were haggled. Do not buy shadow systems from them, they won’t even take em. Not worth the money."

"Drove down from Providence to find shop closed for private event. They did not update their hours on Google Maps which is just lame and lazy."

"Not great friends of the industry. Would not let me purchase ammo with my Federal Firearms License, when I can buy a pallet of ammo from distributers with my FFL. Waste of time. For future reference.. Blue card and conceal carry license to buy ammo is for NON FFL holders. You could have legally sold ammo to me but you'd rather waste my time and make yourself look bad."

"Purchased a firearm over the phone, quick to ship to the FFL. Received the firearm with missing pic rail. Called store and spoke to counter whom stated that the pic rail would be sent out that day. One week later with numerous phone calls to Hunter (sales counter) discovered that it wasn't shipped at all. Asked to speak to the store manager whom is always to busy to take or return calls. DONE WITH THE SPORTING SHOPPE! POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS!"
