"I'm pretty excited to try the paddle board rental service. Unfortunately, it's a little cold in November. Location is impressive with amazing sunset views. The store is packed with outdoor gear and clothing. If you're looking to get off the beaten path, this is a good place to start."

"Overall we had a really good time renting a tandem kayak. The booking wasn’t very straight forward so we did have some messing around. Picked up on of their leaflets but it doesn’t say you need to book online. We arrived at the shop, r there is a sign on the shop saying go to a different place for rentals. We went there and it was empty, they got had just left. My husband went back to the shop, the guy then came back but said we both needed to go to the shop or book online and sign the waiver. There is also no parking where you enter the water so we also had to move the cars So after many walks up and down the street we managed to get on the water. Which was then lovely. Very flat so easy to paddle, small marsh area one way and then in to the harbour the other way going out to some islands you can stop at. We had a private beach and watched the boats go by."

"Last summer, we stopped at the Kayak Center while visiting family in RI and were so impressed, we decided to drive back (from PA) last week to shop again. The experience was phenomenal! I had communicated with the staff prior to our visit to narrow down boards to demo. I tried 2 which were both great and selected one. We bought accessories and the staff helped us load it on our car. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. I highly recommend The Kayak Center and looking forward to returning soon!"
