"I have come in to Marathon Sports Brookline a number of times, and Talia's kindness, expertise, and assistance in helping me find shoes are second to none. Whether it is a shoe for easy miles, racing, or even a long run shoe full of cushion, her knowledge of running shoes is fantastic. I cannot overstate how grateful I am for her help in picking out a couple pairs of shoes for my Spring marathon training. Absolutely fantastic experience. I hope that Marathon Sports can send their full array of stock to this location, if only so Talia can give customers who want to try on everything imaginable the options. Thank you so much Talia!!!"

I have a lot of foot “issues” (pain, high arches, etc) and Blair was able to find me a pair of truly comfortable shoes that meet all of my needs. "Marathon sports not what it used to be. Came in to the Washington Street location for a pair of shoes and the person helping me couldn’t be bothered. She never asked about what I was looking for, never checked to make sure things were fitting correctly, and literally just dropped boxes of shoes in front of me and walked away right after to look at her phone. It sucks because I spent a lot of money (nearly $200) and was totally polite and patient but wasn’t really treated like a customer. Marathon Sports used to be my go to but after this experience, I won’t be coming back to this store."
