"I just love this store! Unpretentious place with everything from touristy chotchies to needlepoint supplies and everything in between. Household essentials to souvenir keychains. You name it. And always a friendly face behind the counter."
"I do not recommend buying from this store. We went in and bought a box of taffy. Immediately after it was purchased we opened the box and the taffy was hard as rocks!. No worries I thought - I immediately went back into the store to see if we could exchange it for a different box because the taffy we had bought was inedible. They refused to do anything about it - not even an exchange for a box that was “fresh”. It’s just absolutely ridiculous that they sold me a bad product and refused to do anything about it. What if they had sold me a pack of coasters and 2 were broken - would they not take those back? The young man who wore glasses and said he was the manager refused to give us his name. He was extremely unhelpful and down right rude. Every time he answered a question he answered it with sarcasm . This man was a poor representation of this store/company. Even though we disagreed on the solution i was polite the entire time - but that didn’t matter because he verbatim told us to never come back to this store or shop there again. I NEVER WRITE BAD REVIEWS but I absolutely had to share this experience because I have never experienced such poor customer service before. I hope the owners; Patrick Doherty and Barbara Henderson see this so they know how their staff is treating customers. You can buy better candy and souvenirs at many other stores on main st. All of which has fabulous customer service."
"I love this store for the unusual things they carry. I bought cozies for beer that have president Trump and Biden on them. Cool store."
"Meh. Lots of kitchy stuff. Service wasn't great and the snotty sign notifying customers that the credit card fee is no longer their problem was tacky. IMO, it's the cost of doing business. I won't be back."
"This store has everything you forgot (candles, clothespins, corn cob holders), useful things (sewing notions, patches for inflatable toys), postcards, souvenirs, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Prices are no longer 5 and 10 cents, but this is the kind of store where memories are made. Head here if it rains during your stay; the store is well-stocked with puzzles and games to keep everyone busy indoors. Expect to stand in line."
