Surfland Bait & Tackle

"I drove up to Surfland yesterday to have a Penn reel looked at. I hadn't been to Plum Island in 35 years. The ride in was worth the trip what a beautiful place. Martha was at lunch so I left the reel and went to get lunch myself when I came back she was finished repairing it. I paid more for lunch than I did for the repair she was able to do it with her eyes closed. I had a great time talking to Hong and Martha, she knows more about Penn than Penn does. I've been in a lot of fishing shops, Surfland is right up there and probably the friendliest one I've been in. Excellent product selection to keep you fishing."

I brought a friend along one day who needed equipment as he had not surf cast before and they had him up and running with great advice, pole and a spooled reel in a matter of minutes once he decided on what to get. Also very nice with advice about where the fish are biting and what bait has been working. Gave us directions to a spot we hadn't been before and we had a great day. can you tell I had a good experience here yet :). I would highly recommend."
