"Don't have any idea what there doing"

"This is not an easy review to write but if I can help one person avoid this place, it’ll be worth it. Back in May, 2020 I was involved in an accident in my 2016 Ram 1500. Set it up to bring my truck in the shop to get checked out, where I’ve been before for more minor repairs. It was not an affiliated shop with my insurance but I decided to go with it anyway, trusting them. I was able to get it in pretty timely, no issue there. They were able to get the parts fairly quickly and after about 2 weeks, I had my truck back. I was hoping that would be it, but no. Immediately when I was driving home, the truck was vibrating extremely noticeably. Definitely not what it was like before. So I spoke with Chrissy and brought the truck back in and went for a ride with the tech. He checked it out, said one of the wheels (that was effected in the crash) was not balanced after. This was also after I told him that it looked like the weights were ripped off and missing. So he balanced the tire. I drove home after, truck still vibrating. Also, the steering wheel was cockeyed. Between the vibration, steering wheel not being centered, and the truck pulling I asked about an alignment. They said they conducted one, and that would pretty much be it. What ensued after that was me going between the shop and my insurance, just trying to get a simple alignment done since clearly my truck was not repaired correctly. Also, one of the rims that was effected by the accident was never fixed, but honestly, I was not that concerned, I just wanted my truck properly fixed. After going back and forth, Chrissy suggested I make an appointment with the service department, which would cost me money out of pocket, which I did not want to do as I believed the truck was never fully repaired. This was met with laughter from Chrissy, which ended all of our talks after I questioned why she was laughing and never heard back. A few months later, I had new tires put on and with it, an alignment, and guess what? Vibration all gone and truck was driving perfectly. Who woulda thought? Less than a year after the accident, I bring the truck in for state inspection and informed that my right front wheel hub is failing and will have to be replaced soon. A part that was fixed by Berlin City, less than a year ago. When I originally brought the truck in, I was told they stood by their work and was never informed of a limited warranty, just they they stood by it (which apparently is very far from the truth). Turns out their warranty is 12k or 1 year, whichever came first. Watch out, you will not be informed of this ahead of time. Well my truck was just over those miles so I guess I was out of luck, even though a wheel hub should last much longer than 15,000 miles… I’ll now have to make the amount of my deductible to continue to pay for repairs. Additionally, I’ve added a couple of photos. The clean assembly, my original parts, stock on the truck. The rusted? A year after being fixed at Berlin City. Additionally, just by feel, you can tell the parts are of not the same quality. I have zero confidence in the repairs of Berlin City and felt that after I got my truck back, my truck will never be the same since pre accident. If you want a quick and dirty repair, go to Berlin City. If you want your vehicle to be fixed properly and have confidence that your ride will be as good as new after? Avoid it. I’ve never written a review like this, certainly against a local business but again, if it can help other people save their time, effort, and sanity, it will be worth it. Thank you."
