"Dinner was wonderful they had live music and it was majecal the fire place was lit and everyone was so nice. Lots of local people made me feel at home. In my new town. I just move here. I had such a wonderful earning. Thanks to the gang at Oak Street."

"Out on a Sunday afternoon running some errands and just roaming around a bit we searched for a new lunch spot and found Oak Street Bistro and decided to give it a try. We live about 35 minutes away and routinely ride our motorcycles through this area and I've never noticed this place as a restaurant before driving by and now I feel I have missed out of years of driving by and not stopping. We arrived to find an amazing waiting area upon entry complete with fireplace and large seating options comprised of dark wood and leather padded chairs. As move into the restaurant further you find that the Christmas decorations are abundant and very well done including several beautifully decorated Christmas trees. There were 2 dining rooms available, but we chose to go to the bar area where options of table seating or a spot at their large bar were available. We were greeted as we approached and offered to seat anywhere of our liking as it was not very busy at the moment. The decorations continued throughout the bar with the Christmas decor. The bar area also equipped with a large fireplace (that we wished was on at the time). We sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple of beverages and appetizers which were all great including some of the coldest draft beers I've had in the area. Service was also well-done with bartender very attentive to our needs as well as the others at the bar. We look forward to returning to try some dinner options in the future as the overall vibe Oak Street Bistro was so enjoyable."

"I went here tonight. It was a 20 minute wait, but then we sat in the chairs to wait, we didn't want to get up to go to our table because they were so comfortable! Zack was our server. He was new and still learning the ropes, but he was excellent. He seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food was well prepared, but maybe a little overpriced."

"This place in small town Alfred is fantastic! Atmosphere is great and super cozy. Someone was playing piano last time I was there! They have great appetizers and drinks. I recommend the salmon! It was excellent! Update ! Tried a few new things. The mussels are my new favorite dish!! I didn't love the seafood platter with haddock but the shrimp and scallops were great"
