"Tried to buy a bottle of Cabernet. Both my wife and I asked about the price of an unmarked bottle to which he said "13.99." When we walked up to pay in about a minute he rang $17.99. I asked him about it and he said no $17.99. I probably should have asked him to void it but since it was sketchy I didn't feel comfortable that he might do something else. I'm just trying to help anyone also from getting scammed."
"I went into the store to buy an Apple Ciroc, and was confronted rudely by the employee. The employee automatically assumed that I was under 21, which was not true. I passed him my Massachusetts Government Drivers License and he scans it through the machine. He scanned my Drivers License at least 4 times and the machine wasn’t detecting that it was a real ID. I don’t even have issues with my Drivers License in the AIRPORT, there is no reason why my license didn’t scan through as being a vaild ID. The employee almost forgot to give me my license back, and made me feel very embarrassed. He refused to sell me the alcohol. I have never had an issue with buying alcohol at this spot. I advise to check your black ID machine because it’s not functioning properly and this will cause you to lose customers."
"Came in to see what they had in way of fine liquor, as they advertised. They had a few things, but nothing we couldn't get anywhere else. Did find a nice rum, but felt like we were being watched the while time. Place is small and cramped. Would only come here again if I was staying nearby, but definitely wouldn't go out of my way for it."
"Been here a couple of times, but tonight was the last four sure. When it comes to mask compliance, this place is one of absolute worst I've seen in Boston. The employees openly and consistently walk around the store without any face coverings at all, but conveniently around their necks. Additionally they will repeatedly walk right up next to you if you're in the store. If you're looking to meet Rona, this is a great place for it. Beyond that they have a decent beer selection"
"Nice staff and convenient location, but they are a bit overpriced. They do accepts out of state ID's (unlike star market across the street), so this is a good go-to for out of state visitors."
