"This is in Chinatown, decent food and really fast service. I tried Steamed Shrimp Dumplings, Beef Lo Mein and Black Fungus Salad here on a weeknight. Dumplings and Lo Mein were quite good. The salad was spicy and refreshing."
"Great authentic Chinese food! A very wide selection of options to choose from and the portion sizes are generous and shareable. Definitely go with a group of people to try out more dishes! Loved the salted egg yolk sautéed pumpkin, the eggplant and string beans, wood ear mushroom, fried salt and pepper fish, and the fried pepper chicken. Note that rice does not come with the entrees so those will need to be ordered separately and is about $2 per bowl of rice!"
"Didn't like the way they chopped the ribs up. It was hard to eat and too sweet. Salt and pepper shrimp was too salty. The rest was good. Nice place to eat but I feel like the employees rush you."
"At first glance inside, this place is like a hole in the wall restaurant, but the prices don’t match that. The floors are filthy, with food and crumbs everywhere. The server brought our water with bandaids on his fingers, grabbing both cups from the top with his hands around the drinking rim area. I noticed another server touch her hair with gloves on then go back to rolling silverware. Besides the lack of cleanliness, the staff just wasn’t friendly at all. They were short, blunt, and it felt like you were talking to a robot. You order through an app, so there’s minimal interaction, but we felt rushed to checkout as soon as more people started arriving. The food itself was pretty good, especially the lo mein. I can’t end this review without mentioning THE WORST THING ABOUT THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT: this terrible annoying PINGING SOUND (iPhone text sound) that goes off at full volume every few seconds from the kitchen/counter area. It just keeps ringing in your ears and it’s the most obnoxious thing to listen to while you’re trying to enjoy your dinner. Every time the restaurant gets a notification from their app, it goes off. Try to sit as close to the street window and as far from the kitchen as possible to avoid it."
"It is a solid place to come and get some authentic Asian food. We only ordered a couple of dishes as it was only two of us. We ordered the House Special Stir Fried Tender Beef and Fried Tofu with preserved pork. Both dishes had a good spice to it, but the Fried Tofu one was a bit salty for me. We definitely need more people next time so we can try some other items."
