"It's like a precooked hotpot restaurant. The bowls of soup come on a hot stand to keep the broth warm. Everyone gets their own premade pot. The sauces on the side are so addictive. The drinks aren't terrible. I got the lamb pot and it was really flavorful! The servers are very nice and helpful. The place seemed pretty clean."

"I love my individualized hotpot lolz. If you have a friend who prefers not sharing food it’s a good alternative to group hotpot. I always come here when I’m looking for comfort soup regardless of weather. Food: for 17.99 you get a whole pot to yourself and a side of rice. It is not the most affordable meal but in terms of hotpot prices it definitely beats group hotpot because those really add up to around 25 to 40 per person. Also so hard to solo those. Also Tasty Pot literally fill your bowl to the brim with ingredients. Whenever I’m starting my meal, I have to be careful digging in because I am afraid to spill my soup lolz. I got the milky cheese pot and it’s so delicious and not too heavy either. Usually I get tired of heavy and creamy dishes really fast but they mix the broth and milk in just the right proportion to make it savory and not overbearingly milky. In my pot I got 4 quail eggs, good portion of meat, a sausage, tons of veggies and your typical hot pot add ins. Service: The staff always very friendly and nice!!! I love that they have a call bell on the table so that way no one is lurking over while you eat and you don’t have to play eye contact hide and seek with the waitstaff. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is pretty great and the interior is very spacious for Allston. I’ve seen so many ppl on their dates lolz while I munch singularly on my hotpot."

"Great casual hotpot experience with individualized hotpot servings. Traditional hotpot experience usually revolves around a communal pot filled with a variety of toppings, so it often leads to an overstuffed feeling by the end of the meal. Tasty Pot’s trendy and tailored approach offers a refreshingly different yet equally gratifying experience. On my recent visit on for a weekday dinner, I tried two of their popular hotpots – beef tomato and seafood lobster. Both were filled with a curated selection of toppings that struck the perfect balance between vegetables, proteins, and carbs. Beef tomato soup was slightly more flavorful, but the generous portions of lobster, shrimp, squid, and other seafood in the other was also enjoyable. Dipping sauce options were limited to chili soybean paste and garlic soy, but they were surprisingly effective in elevating the taste of the hotpot. I did miss my favorite combination of sesame sauce, chili oil, and scallions, but the chili soybean paste filled in admirably with its punchy umami. While Tasty Pot may not feature extravagant presentations or an exhaustive list of premium toppings, it hits the bullseye when it comes to delivering an individualized hotpot experience. For those looking for a streamlined and satisfying hotpot without the usual communal excesses, Tasty Pot is a great choice."

"I wish I went in to try this place sooner. The food is great and the atmosphere is pretty chill. Your biggest obstacle is probably going to be finding the right entrance and opening the double doors. The milk tea is solid and the servers are nice. Definitely going again to try different soups."

"Wonderful hot pot in a laid back atmosphere. Plenty of great places to follow up for dessert or bubble tea in the area. Broths are excellent and choices of meats, veggies, etc are great. Not too big of a space though, so keep that in mind for large groups. Excellent for 2-4 people."
