"Walking in, the restaurant was muggy. A few of the workers were at the front, ringing out another customer. I made eye contact with the same worker twice and wasn’t waited upon. Eventually, another worker saw to me and sat me at a spot. Ordered a jjajangmyeong and kimchi pajeon. One of the male workers, more heftier of a face, brought my banchan over. When I thanked him, he didn’t say anything back, looking displeased. As I was eating, no one checked on me or saw if I needed anything despite me needing a water refill. Granted, when I visited, all the workers sat down to eat their lunches, and didn’t seem like they wanted to be bothered. The kimchi pajeon was pretty good, but the jjajangmyeong didn’t live up to the hype other reviewers are giving it. Little flavor, mostly cabbage and onions. I counted maybe 3 small pork pieces and no other veggies. I will not be returning to Seoul Jangteo. Rude and unprofessional staff serving mediocre food. UPDATE: Got food poisoning from the food."
"I had a great time with my friend at seoul jangteo last weekend. Because it is few of the most delicious korean restaurant in boston, we had to wait a while-10 to 15mins-but they had chairs to wait so it was no big deal. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the crispy pork fry and jjajang noodle. The new stir fried jjajang was soooo good. Awesome service and would love to visit asap-!!"
"This is a nice spot for delicious and authentic Korean dishes. The spicy stir-fry squid is great and their tangsuyuk is so good and you get to pour the sweet and sour sauce on it yourself."
