House Of Noodles 面之家

"I visited House of Noodles in Newton Centre. It's a small restaurant with bar seating against the wall and a self service ordering kiosk/sauce bar. The popcorn chicken had a good portion size, but it tasted more like chicken tenders than Asian-style popcorn chicken. The soup dumplings seemed frozen but were decent. The chicken zong zi was fine, but the rice had a grainy texture rather than being sticky/sweet. The pork biang biang mian had good pork with good flavor and tenderness. However, the egg tomato tasted strongly like ketchup, and the noodles were thick and a bit hard. While it's possible that other menu items, like the rice noodle soups, are better, what I tried wasn't impressive. They have a self-service chili oil bar, but the chili tasted a bit burnt. I probably would not come back here."

"Had to order it twice since Uber eats screwed up my delivery. Should have taken that as a sign that something was not right. I spent 20 bucks on one of the most disgusting dishes I have ever eaten. That picture is 3 bites before I threw it in the trash. I would need to hire a poet to properly describe how nasty this noodles dish is. I ordered the hand pulled noodles with pork. There was no pork to speak off. None. It was mostly bean sprouts, some chewy noodles, one undercooked leek, a spring onion, and what I assume was a bit of turnip. All sitting in 2 inches of nasty grease. This was the top recommendation on ubereats for the place Threw it in the garbage. These people should be ashamed of the trash they call food."

"Absolutely loved this spot!! All the noodles are homemade and fresh and you can tell. Every single dish was so good, we wanted more. You must try a noddle dish and a Chinese hamburger."
