"I hate writing negative reviews, but Wild Duck took over a good liquor store - Shields, in Canton, MA, and have staffed it with people who know nothing and aren't helpful, unlike the Shields people, who were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I guess the new owners don't care enough to hire good people. I was a good Shields customer, but I will not be shopping at Wild Duck."

"If I could give a zero star review I would. This store is the closest liquor store to me so I used it out of convenience but not anymore. They are rude and extremely skeptical every time I would use my VALID and OF AGE Pennsylvania Driver's license. I always laughed it off as I do look quite young for my age. Tonight was the nail on the coffin. I purchased my items as usual and went back an hour later because I forgot something. When I went back, they confiscated my ID saying it was fake and I needed to call the police to get it back. I left the store crying. After I composed myself, I returned to the store, called the police, and got my ID back. Thankfully, I had my passport as another form of identification. They did not apologize and instead were quite annoyed that it interrupted their business. I cannot stand people who are so outwardly disrespectful and rude to their customers when they are in the wrong."

"Went to this location because their website showed terrific prices. As the cashier rung up the total, I was shocked. I asked for the amount of each bottle. They were anywhere from 35-70 more than what the website (no stickers on the bottles.) when I confronted both her and another gentleman in the store about it, and ask them to honor the website price, I was met with hostility, and told that they don’t manage the website. If you were looking for spirits and use their website for reference, don’t go here."

"I come here for all of my alcohol-related purchases, especially wines. They have a wide variety of wine selections and extensive alcohol and snacks too. Staff is incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgable about their stock and selections. Usually come here to get wine gifts for parties or a special occasion. Prices are reasonable."
