"I have been a part of The Cubby community for ten years now and it continues to be my favorite place of all time. They have fun new stuff to look at every day and the staff are always so nice and helpful. It’s always a good time at The Cubby!"
"The staff are amazing! Even when I asked almost the same question over and over. Laura (not sure if I spelt her name right) was not frustrated at all when it was time to close and I was last minute checking out. Such a sweetheart! I went in for scrubs but obviously came out with so much more. It is so rare to see people working, busy, under pressure that love their job and service to customers!!"
"Over priced stuff that was donated to them. The Manger is very rude and doesn't care about the customer or people who work for her. I wouldn't shop in this store or the others. Too bad because of what they are supposed to be doing for kids. Apparently the owners don't care about their business if they let this happen. I have tried to call them and they don't return calls."
"Needs improvement. A new manager person in the store is very rude. I have heard her badmouthing other customers by name. She has an attitude and seems to distrust everyone in the store. I have been a loyal customer, shopping and donating for years now. I went in today and pulled a shirt from the dollar rack and went to pay. She looked for a "tag" and could not find it. I told her I just took it off the dollar rack, which was loaded with clothes. She said it was an "up" item?? and someone (insinuating me??) took off the tag. Well the tags are little plastic barbs that go in the tag of the shirt. The clothes on the dollar rack were so packed that to pull out a shirt could cause that little plastic barb to come off. The funny thing was she took the shirt from me and balled it up and threw in into a pile behind the counter. She did not offer to price it or sell it to me at all. I just kind of said ok and left, a little shocked. Like I said she knows me as a customer who shops frequently, and pays full price for many items of clothing for my whole family. I also pay the dollar to go to their fund raisers. I also bring in many nice donations. I would not remove a tag to get something for a dollar. She is bad for business. Most of the other people working the counter are very good, but she is running it I believe. Sad, sad, sad. She should not work with the public. It is going to cost them customers."
"When I lived in Presque Isle in 2013, I got quite a few useful items for our apartment here, and the prices were always a steal! The staff is polite and thoughtful, and I enjoyed myself every time I came here."
