"Went to McLaughlin’s this morning for breakfast! First time in Milo, was looking for a place for breakfast and was VERY pleasantly surprised!!! The service was absolutely incredible. The server was so friendly, came to the table each time to check in and fill coffee with a smile on her face!!! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was so welcoming!!! Will definitely go back again!!!"

"I'd forgotten about small town living, but let me tell you, I was reminded just how special it is. I was born in Milo, 1968. I've been gone decades, visited frequently but not for long. Recently my elderly mother passed away and I needed to arrange a small family gathering, all the way from Germany. I contacted McLaughlin's via their FB messenger. After explaining the situation, not one hesitation...they were there to help. I offered to send a deposit. Not necessary, pay after. The day of the service, they put out a nice black board with my Mom's name on it, in her memory. There were 20-25 of us, seated at a nice table. The restaurant is so nicely decorated and clean. We were greeted with hot coffee, we all ordered (one waitress, who handled it all flawlessly) and the food came out promptly, nice and hot and all at once. The food was delicious...I had the hash, and baked beans...yum! My husband had the beef tips and said they were amazing. We were never rushed, coffee flowed and we all had a great time visiting. So, from this Maine girl (who lives so far away) to all of you that took care of us today at McLaughlin's...thanks for making me feel at home, and reminding me of how special small towns are!"

"Just wanted to update my response. My mother Marlene past away in December. My brother Todd Dodge and I just had a breakfast get together. My mother loved her, "Friday morning breakfast" get together at McLaughlin's. Thank you for allowing us to reserve a place for 15 people. And, I had another great omelet!!! Lily or aka Miss Sunshine was a great waitress!!! Her cupcakes are so very good."

"I was visiting with my grandparents in this over-all lovely town when I asked if we could go out to eat for breakfast, my grandmother said "I know a place" and we showed up to this wonderful family Resteraunt, I aswell as my grandparents received 5-Star friendly service and 5-star worthy food, I definitely AM coming here when I come back up, this is better than any other breakfast Resteraunt that I have been to! I highly recommend the corned-beef hash there"
